Curriculum and Intervention Staff
At Melrose Area Public School, our Curriculum & Intervention Team is dedicated to ensuring that all students receive high-quality instruction, targeted support, and the resources they need to succeed. Led by our Curriculum Director, the team works to develop and implement research-based curriculum, provide intervention services, and support student growth in reading, math, and behavior. Assisting in these efforts, our Curriculum Administrative Assistant helps coordinate curriculum initiatives, professional development, and district-wide academic programs.
To support students who need additional help, our Title Interventionists provide small-group instruction in reading and math, focusing on closing achievement gaps through data-driven interventions. Additionally, our ADSIS Interventionists deliver targeted support in reading, math, and behavior through Minnesota’s Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS) program, helping students strengthen academic and self-regulation skills.
Further enhancing student support, our district partners with Minnesota Reading Corps and Minnesota Math Corps to provide structured tutoring services. Our Reading Corps tutors work with students to build strong foundational literacy skills, while our Math Corps tutors reinforce key mathematical concepts through individualized and small-group instruction.
Together, our team is committed to creating a student-centered learning environment that promotes academic success, provides intervention support, and ensures equitable opportunities for all learners.
