Congratulations to Lydia Prout!
After winning the VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Competition at the local level, Lydia won at the District level. She went on to compete at State and won First Place at the State Competition!
This the first time anyone from the Melrose VFW Post 7050 has won at the State level. In March, Lydia will travel to Washington DC to compete at the National level! We are so excited!
