February 2nd is special for a lot of reasons. It's Groundhog Day, Wear Red for Heart Health, and is the day that Kyle Lieser was born 34 years ago.
Kyle, son of staff member, Bev Lieser, was injured in a car accident a few weeks ago. Kyle is celebrating his birthday with his wife and daughters in Colorado as he receives rehabilitation. Melrose Area Schools' Staff wore blue to celebrate Kyle's birthday and show support.
