Starting this January, Melrose Middle School needs 2 math tutors to give their time and talent to help our kids improve their math skills. Maybe you are a stay-at-home parent or retiree, recent grad or career changer – you could be a great tutor.
No experience? No problem – we’ll train you. You don’t even have to be great at math.
There are perks (even beyond helping young students) to serving as a tutor:
-Receive a living stipend every two weeks
-$445 if serving 25 hours/week; $318 if 25 hours/week; $242 if 18 hours/week
-Earn up to $4,200 for college tuition or to pay back student loans. Tutors 55 and older may gift the award to their child, grandchild, stepchild or foster child.
-Free health insurance for those serving 35 hours/week.
