Congratulations to Itzel Chisco Guerrero, the 2024-25 Melrose Area Public Schools' Spelling Bee Champion!
The yearly Spelling Bee, held on a cold day in January, was won by Itzel, who correctly spelling the word, "meticulous" to win the competition. Itzel is in eighth grade.
Runner up was Lucas Christenson, a fellow eighth grader from Melrose Area Public Schools.
