Melrose Area School Board Selects Superintendent
Melrose, MN— When negotiations fell through for the Melrose Area School Board with their selected superintendent finalist, the school board revisited their discussion from finalist interviews held March 10 and came to a unanimous decision to offer a contract to Dr. Zachary Dingmann, currently the School Principal for grades 3-5 in Sartell-St. Stephen ISD 748.
“As an experienced and passionate educational leader,” Zach stated, “I am excited to share my vision for academic excellence, my commitment to community collaboration, and my determination to drive student success in the role of superintendent for Melrose Area Public Schools.”
Negotiations have been concluded, and a contract is expected to be approved by the school board at their regular board meeting being held March 24, 2025.
The start date for the new superintendent will be July 1, 2025.
