The number of COVID-19 cases this past week does show a decrease to 29.97 Current projections for next week will show this number will decrease to 20.15.
It is only fitting that we have our lowest numbers of the year on the last week of school.
This posting will be my last of the year for updates in regards to the pandemic that we have dealt with for the past 16 months. I hope you have found these updates to be helpful in understanding the decisions that were made this past year in regards to our learning models.
I am hopeful that as we get through this summer and more people get vaccinated that we will not have to revisit the different levels of mitigation that were needed during the pandemic. Most importantly, I hope that masks will not be required next fall.
Have a great summer! Spend as much time as you can outside with family and friends.
