On Friday, Melrose Speech competed in the Section 5A tournament in Albany.
*24 students advanced to section finals
*Melrose had finalists in every category
*15 students made the top 3 in their category and will advance to the state tournament (surpassing the record set last year)
*The team was named the Section 5A Champions for the 4th consecutive time
*Every speaker made the coaches incredibly proud
