This past week our geographic district went up from 69.5 to 106. Within our district, we are now in high transmission. With a couple of different variants present, there has been a considerable spread of COVID within our school district and throughout Minnesota. We did have one confirmed case in the middle school this past week. Fortunately, with this latest spike of COVID, the hospitals are not seeing a large number of patients as they did during the last significant outbreak. Continue to do what you can to protect yourself and prevent the spread.
We did receive a number of Requests for Proposals (RFPās) for Construction Management services last week. The deadline to get these in was Friday (5/6). We will be working in the next couple of weeks to narrow down the field and pick a Construction Management firm to work with us on our building projects.
I want to continue to make a standing offer on my part to be in attendance at the request of any individual or group of people that have questions on the bond referendum. I want to keep my calendar fairly open for the summer to attend to any requests. I do have standing meetings on my calendar so I cannot grant every request but I would like the opportunity to see if any other date would work.
If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me or any of the building principals.
