This past week our geographic district went down from 169 to 132.  We are now past the plateau and we are hopeful these numbers will continue to go down for the rest of the summer. Continue to do what you can to protect yourself and prevent the spread.

I do want to quickly address the tragic school shooting last week. This is one of the worst nightmares for students, parents, and communities. School safety is one of our highest priorities.  We continue to monitor school safety and plan for any additional ways we can make our schools safer.  Our school leadership works closely with local and county law enforcement to address issues that we are aware of before they can impact our school.

As we phase out the communication on this update on COVID, I want to begin to address questions I have received on the bond referendum.  I will answer them initially on this weekly update and then put them on a document on our website. Please email me if you have any questions about the bond referendum.

I want to continue to make a standing offer on my part to be in attendance at the request of any individual or group of people that have questions on the bond referendum. I want to keep my calendar fairly open for the summer to attend to any requests. I do have standing meetings on my calendar so I cannot grant every request but I would like the opportunity to see if any other date would work.

If you have any questions or concerns do not hesitate to contact me or any of the building principals.
