Melrose Area Public Schools

Melrose Area Speech Team had a monumental day in our program's history this past Saturday by becoming State Champions!🥇
Our speakers truly stepped up, and achieved incredible success. Out of our 18 State attendees, 13 advanced to Finals, and we proudly celebrate two Individual State Champions: Esther Kapsner, who defended her title in Ex. Reading, and Teague Dusha, the State Champion in Great Speeches!
With numerous other notable placements, we secured the team championship title for Class A for the third time!
This isn't the end of the season for some speakers, as we're grateful to attend the NIETOC tournament from May 7-10 in Shakopee. We're still seeking funding to attend, so please consider contributing or reaching out to become a team sponsor! 🏆

Youth in grades K-8 are invited to get ready for a BLAST with PAINT BOMBS!! Kids will combine science and art for explosive fun. Join us as we learn the chemistry of making paint bombs and create stunning splatter art in this course!

Melrose Area High School Prom is Saturday, May 2nd! Grand March is at 7pm, with doors opening at 6:00pm. Tickets are available at the door for $5/each. (Students in 3rd grade and under get in free!) Prom attendees will each get two Grand March Tickets to share.
