Congratulations to the Melrose/Sauk Centre Fusion Boys Swimming and Diving Team on winning the West Central Conference Championship last night! Andrue Stalboerger was the champion in Diving and set a new West Central Conference meet record in Diving. Other All-Conference athletes included Nolan Fleischhacker, Isaiah Zink, Macen Toavs-Etcheverry, Thatcher Van Beck, Jacob Robischon, Sevrin Anderson, Grant Eveslage, Sam Stangler, and Alex Wilwerding. We had a sprinkler malfunction in our secondary kitchen today (2/2/24). Elementary students are eating on time. Secondary students will eat one period later. No one was hurt. The school day will resume as normal.

The Melrose Dutchmen Archery Team hosted the first regional tournament of the season on Saturday, January 27. The tournament hosted over 300 students from 6 different central Minnesota Schools. Congratulations to Cami McCormick who earned 3rd place in the High School Girls Division with a score of 276. Also on the Leaderboard was Weston VanHavermaet in 6th place with a score of 279 and Sawyer Frieler in 9th place with a score of 278.
