Melrose Area High School has been employing an 'All Hands on Deck' effort as they prepared a plethora of snacks for energetic Prom attendees! Tortilla Pinwheels, Pickle Wraps, Rice Krispie Bars, and Chex Mix will help give our beautiful participants energy to dance the night away. #DutchmenPride
Yesterday, May 1, the Melrose Honor Society along with the Melrose Police Department hosted a "Mock Crash" to show the Melrose Area High School Students the possible outcome of driving while distracted, impaired or not wearing your seatbelt. Thank you to the Melrose and Freeport Fire Departments, Melrose Area Ambulance, Stearns County Sheriff's Department, and Life Link Helicopter for bringing this important message to life.

Hallie was a nominee for 'Athlete of the Year,' and was recognized for earning All-State Honors. Advanced Culinary Students cooked a fancy meal this week - Tacos de Lengua - or Beef Tongue Tacos! Our students made Salsa Verde and Corn Tortillas for their delicious meal. Beef Tongue can be purchased at Martinez, in Melrose. Special thanks for the donation of beef tongues!
