Yesterday, May 1, the Melrose Honor Society along with the Melrose Police Department hosted a "Mock Crash" to show the Melrose Area High School Students the possible outcome of driving while distracted, impaired or not wearing your seatbelt. Thank you to the Melrose and Freeport Fire Departments, Melrose Area Ambulance, Stearns County Sheriff's Department, and Life Link Helicopter for bringing this important message to life.

Hallie was a nominee for 'Athlete of the Year,' and was recognized for earning All-State Honors. NHS is one of the oldest, largest and most widely recognized co-curricular student organizations in American high schools. National Infant Immunization Week (NIIW) is a yearly observance held in April, highlighting the importance of protecting children two years and younger from vaccine-preventable diseases. NIIW is April 22-29, 2024. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) recommend children stay on track with their well-child appointments and routine vaccinations.
