We have very exciting news from the world of swimming!!! The Melrose/Sauk Centre Fusion Boys Swimming and Diving team finished in 8th place today at the Class A State Meet. This is the highest team finish in program history!!
The 200 Medley Relay team of Alex Wilwerding, Sevrin Anderson, Grant Eveslage and Sam Stangler took fifth place and earned All State honors while also setting a new Fusion record in prelims.
In the 200 Freestyle, hunter Leslie finished 14th.
In the 50 Freestyle, Alex Wilwerding finished 13th.
Andrue Stalboerger finished fourth in Diving, earning All State honors.
In the 100 Butterfly, Sevrin Anderson finished 9th and set a new Sauk Centre school record.
In the 100 Freestyle, Grant Eveslage finished 12th.
In the 500 Freestyle Macen Toavs-Etcheverry finished 11th.
In the 200 Freestyle Relay, the team of Sully Stumler, Sevrin Anderson, Hunter Leslie and Sam Stangler finished 11th.
In the 100 Breaststroke, Sevrin Anderson finished 8th and earned All State honors while breaking the Fusion record.
In the 400 Freestyle Relay, the team of Grant Eveslage, Macen Toavs-Etcheverry, Nolan Fleischhacker and Alex Wilwerding finished 8th place and earned All State honors.

Update for Boys Swimming & Diving Prelims Results: Andrue Stalboerger is in 4th Place, and has three dives left in finals. Our 200 Medley Team took 4th Place!
