The Wrestling Fan Bus is ready to roll! The fan bus leaves Melrose on Friday, March 1 at 8:15am and will return after our wrestlers are done that day. This fan bus is open to all. Students in grades 7-12, please turn in your permission form and $11 - the cost of your ticket to Audrey by 3pm on 2/28/24. Other Community Members who would like to ride the bus should reach out to Mr. Ruoff or Mr. Bergman, depending on the district you live in. On Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, the Melrose Speech Team took First Place at the Maple Lake Speechball Tournament! Individual Champions included Amelia Brower in Informative, Jonathan Botello in Creative, Emily Sand in Ex. Reading, and Andrew Traeger in Poetry. Runner-Up was Teague Dusha in Ex. Speaking. Earning 3rd Place were Autumn Oevermann in Drama and Asher Utsch in Prose. 4th Place went to Andrew Traeger in Original Oratory and Lucia Borrego Lorenzo in Prose. Ella Erdmann took 5th Place in Creative. Ella Erdmann and Zoe Hoeschen took 6th Place in Duo. Jada Rausch took 8th in Storytelling. What a great day for Speech! #DutchmenPride
Melrose Area Elementary 4th graders used wires and a battery to make a lightbulb light up. Students are learning about using energy resources to generate electricity. #DutchmenPride
On Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, students from Germany and their partners went on their annual Twin Cities trip. Students enjoyed their trip to Como Zoo and had fun watching the MN Timberwolves play! The German students and teachers from Buhl left this morning. We had a lot of fun with our new friends. #DutchmenPride
