Ready to Wrestle? Youth Wrestling begins practice tonight from 6-7:30pm, at the Sauk Centre Armory. This program is for boys and girls in PreK through 6th grade, and is for youth in both Sauk Centre and Melrose Area Schools. Our Foods Classes have been been busy! We made roasted garlic cream cheese mashed potatoes, and man! They were tasty! Advanced Culinary Class made Turkey Roulade, served with mashed potatoes, dressing and gravy! Yumm!

Melrose Middle School Student Council held a food drive this month. Grades 6-8 collected over one hundred items of food to donate to the Melrose Food Shelf! Great job middle schoolers!

Congratulations to our Girls Swimming and Diving Team on their performance at the State Meet! Josie Eveslage finished 27th in Diving. Makayla Zirbes finished 22nd in the 100 Backstroke. The 200 Free Relay Team of Hallie Drossel, Anika Berscheit, Lauren Reed and Maddi Kraemer finished 19th. The 400 Free Relay Team of Lauren Reed, Jaiden Smith, Makayla Zirbes and Brooke Ruoff finished 19th. Theresia Nathe finished 15th in Diving. Brooke Ruoff finished 14th in the 100 Backstroke. The 200 Medley Relay Team of Brooke Ruoff, Hallie Drossel, Georgia Anderson and Maddi Kraemer finished in 12th Place. Hallie Drossel earned All-State Honors with her third place finish in the 200 IM and second place in the 100 Breaststroke. With these strong finishes, Hallie ends her high school swimming career with more medals than any swimmer in our school's history! Congratulations to Hallie and our whole team! #DutchmenPride

State Swim/Dive competition began today with Diving at noon. Prelim scores for Josie Eveslage- 129.95 and Theresia Nathe- 140.35. Theresia moved on to semi finals and finished in 14th place, with a score of 222.65. Way to go, Dutchmen!
